Dr. Henrik Rindel Gudbergsen received his authorization as physician in 2008 and in 2012 he was licensed to individually practice medicine. In 2012 he received his PhD from the Institute for Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen within the field of osteoarthritis, obesity and advanced imaging.
Dr. Gudbergsen has been head of the ELECTOR project since 2013, aiming to develop, implement, and evaluate an eHealth ICT platform for home-based monitoring of patients with arthritis.
Dr. Gudbergsen is characterized by having a versatile, analytical, innovative and result-oriented approach in order to deliver optimal solutions. He is experienced in creating synergies via innovative and research collaborations between public institutions, research institutes, large corporate businesses, and SMEs. To date, he has fundraised > 4 million euros for projects within the field of research and innovation. Dr. Gudbergsen has a broad experience from both clinical and non-clinical positions with the public healthcare system and private sector and is highly qualified as clinician, pre- and postgraduate teacher, researcher and pharmaceutical physician.
Dr. Gudbergsen holds positions as reviewer for Annals of Rheumatic Diseases, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, and the Danish Business Authority and he is a local representative of Frederiksberg Hospital in the Capital Regions Research Network.
