Researchers from the Parker Institute are part of global initiatives exploring how different pain mechanisms (i.e., nociceptive, neuropathic, nociplastic) impact different health outcomes - modifying, confounding and potentially even bias the outcome measures applied across various aspects of Rheumatic Musculoskeletal Diseases.
Thus, Pain phenotype constitutes an important contextual factor in rheumatology.
