Mie Christensen

Mie Skovmand Christensen graduated as an occupational therapist from University College Copenhagen (Metropol) in June 2013. Since finishing her education, Mie has worked with psychiatric patients – primarily on wards and outpatient clinics. For the past five years, Mie has worked in research studies under Region Hovedstaden Psykiatri. Research studies on medication tapering for patients with schizophrenia and on improving the functional level of patients with unipolar and bipolar disorders, with a thorough examination as a starting point. Mie has been employed at The Parker Institute since September 2023 and currently works with patient assessments in research projects involving psychiatric disorders.
