Asmita Fritt-Rasmussen is pursuing a master’s degree in Human Physiology at the University of Copenhagen. In 2023, she wrote her bachelor’s thesis on glucose metabolism in patients with hepatitis B at the Centre for Physical Activity Research (CFAS), Rigshospitalet. Afterwards, she worked as a research assistant on the same project. As a master’s student, Asmita assists Mathilde Espe Pedersen on the CANO Study, a project comparing high-intensity aerobic exercise training with neuromuscular exercise training in patients with knee osteoarthritis and at least one cardiovascular risk factor.
