Johanne Brinch Larsen has a Master degree in Clinical Biomechanics from the University of Southern Denmark from 2014.
Her research focuses on nerve and muscle physiology and pain perception. The PhD project will be analyzing three quantitative clinical tests for their prognostic and diagnostic value in patients with lumbar disc herniation. The tests are acoustic myography, electromyography and pain sensory testing. The clinical perspectives are implementation of the results into diagnostics and personalised treatment.
Johanne is enrolled as a PhD student at the University of Southern Denmark from March 2018. The project will be made in affiliation with the Spine Centre of Southern Denmark and the Parker Institute.
