Camilla Toft Nielsen received her medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2017. Camilla did her clinical basic training (KBU) in Orthopedics and Internal Medicine, follow by two years as a junior doctor at the Department of Rheumatology and one year basic training at the Department of Radiology, before starting her PhD in musculoskeletal radiology at the Department of Radiology at Bispebjerg-Frederiksberg and Herlev-Gentofte Hospital and The Parker Institute in January 2022.
Camilla is enrolled as a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. Her PhD is exploring the detection and quantification of joint Calcium Crystal Deposits in patients with Knee Osteoarthritis using the latest generation of Computed Tomography and novel bone and soft-tissue segmentation tools.
