Christine Ballegaard graduated as MD in 2015 from the University of Copenhagen. Postgraduate she completed basic clinical training (KBU) in the department of internal medicine. Since Christine was a medical student she has been a research fellow at the Parker Institute and in 2013 she finished a pregraduate research year. As medical student she has been teaching therapist students in physiology and anatomy and served as health guide for young people. Christine is engaged in the Danish Association of Junior Doctors (YL) and represents YL in the recruitment comittee to the specialist training in General Medicine.
Since March 2016 Christine has been enrolled as PhD student at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on comorbidites and treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis, using different research methods, including register-based cohort study designs, prospective clinical cohort study designs, and meta-epidemiology.
